Swish 2.....

I used to use Swish 2 for sprite movies, then I moved on to hand drawn with flash...But this is phenonmenal seeing Swish being used like this...Seeing all those blurs and camera shakes, I thought you had used an additional graphics program. Great movie, flash or swish, but nice going for the underdog program.

Witty Message

The litte twist at the end was funny, I had my head turned away at the computer screen before the twist and I had heard foriegn sounds comming from what seemed to be a video game battle...
Though the movie itself was well done, I don't completly agree with the message. I don't see the problem of using copyrighted videogame characters if it is a well done flash, drawn or sprite. But I'll admit, the premiss of the movie seemed cliche', which I assume you were going for, and that people do tend to use that route.
Sure there are clones of Sonic, Mario, and Final Fantasy spin offs but people (including me, as I have created somewhat cliche' VG movies in the past) would love to control thier favorite VG character to thier heart's content. I do agree with you that it is a unfair when original movies get shadowed by videogame parodies, but that's how it seems to work. If a known VG character is used, it gets the advantage of people being firmilar with the character, attracting more views than a original movie with unfirmiliar characters/plot. Witty way of conveying a message, but as long as thee are signs of great effort in a VG parody, I'm all for it.

you make a good point sir.

I guess from my point of view, when I see a well done video game parody, I'm OK with it, but I would love the author's talent to go to better use on something more original.

But yeah, as long as the flash is well made and deserves the score it has, I'm cool with it. Like Power Star 2... I didn't enjoy the premise but those custom sprites must have taken ages to create. I have no problem with that sprite flash.

Seems a bit familiar..

As said by WarioWareMaster, this looked very similar to my old 'hedgehehog meets saiyan', like some of the plot, the finishing moves, and way of choosing an ending...

But, it was still a pretty decent Sprite movie, sprite fights should have a movin background sometimes, just to give more motion to the movie, but great fighting moves and Naruto finishing moves straight from the show.

Though I am not a huge fan of Clocks...

More less Clock Day..This was a very clever and well put together peice, so this deserves a high score. Anybody who votes low for the sake of it being related to clocks or an "already made idea", needs to take that stick out of their ass.

It was funny AND I leanred something -_-

I can't belive I actually learned about frequencies on this site..But while it was educational, it was pretty funny with mario's antics. Great use of Mario kart, Mario 64, Super mario world, and Mario golf sounds. I already knew about the speed of sound and such, I actually thought sonic was going to appear then, but using the power star added a nice touch. You diffantly deserved that A.

Magius responds:

I thought about using Sonic, but I figured I probably shouldn't mix the games. And Sonic doesn't have Mario's hilarious charm, either. Thanks!

Great Link Video

I don't usually see serious zelda/link videos out there...This oen was nice, reminded me of that event in super smash brothers melee (if that's where you got your idea from)

And i see some peole are voting low cuz its "zomg dbz rip off. gaaay!!!". Which is so narrow minded its not even funny. Yes, I know you used background music from goku's transformation scene, and the lightning reminded of me of that too, same with the loss off pupils.

But that was like, what, one part of the movie?? I personally liked it, it's not like it had a dbz storyline or anything. Energy blasts are NOT limited to dragonball z and it's stupid when people jump to the conclusion that any fast fighting, super strength, or energy balls is limited to one show. Street fighter had it, justice leauge had it, mortal kombat had it, and peope never compalined about those styles...

All in all, great video, liked the sounds from super smash brothers, not the best quality, what can ya do?

Bout time another decent Sonic movie was made..

Nice way of shapping the old sonic games to your own liking. Great Music use. Dunno why people be saying sonic cant shoot beams and use that dumbass stereotype that its "dbz only". Shadow can do chaos spear, im sure sonic could do sometin like that as well. If he can cruch robots into a ball in his hands, harness the power of emeralds, and use chaos control in energy form to teleport the ARK, then im sure he can choot a simple energy blast.

Dissapointed

Ok yes it's obvious you just got the preview clip for Dragonball Z Budokai 3 and bitmap traced it, you don't need to be told that numerous times.

However, anybody who thinks he DID draw this needs is naive. It's not really hs own work (except for the human-made sound effects) and even it was longer, it still moved too slow and was quite ugly.

Stupid viewers...

Wow

Great rendition of dbz-styled animation. Great use of Falconer's dbz music and SUPERB vegetto voice acting. Front page material. The only thing I would change is the preview icon.

The "X" makes it sound cool
